The Treasurer of South Carolina is an elected executive position in the South Carolina state government. As the state's chief banking officer, the treasurer is responsible for the investment, cash management and safekeeping of South Carolina's general and restricted funds. The salary for this position is $92,007/year.

The amount of petition signatures varies by office. The petition papers are due at noon July 15th (if July 15th falls on a Sunday, the petition papers are due the following Monday at noon).
